Before telling you more about today’s outfit I have some exciting and amazing news to share, something very important to me that will definitely change my life as a fashion blogger. One of my biggest dreams came true this year as I finally managed to move into one of the most glamorous cities in the world. From the moment I went there last year to attend my first fashion event I felt a strong connection with London and knew that a new chapter of the book will be written here. So I’d be more than flattered if you’d join me in this new journey that will certainly bring on exciting fashion experiences ready to be told…
Therefore I wanted to come up with something pretty special for this year’s very first post, a feminine look guaranteed to make a statement, especially now that Valentine’s Day is around the corner.
It turned out I have a thing for trouser suits so I opted for this Topshop sophisticated number, a lovely ensemble rich in texture and softness. Its blue velvet screams luxury and elegance, making it also a great alternative to a party gown. Either styled with flats or heels, this easy-to-throw-on co-ord is this season’s must-have, as well-tailored suits in every colour and format ruled the runways. Plus, it is so easy to style the pieces separately, obtaining different looks.
As I’m a big fan of romanticism I embraced the trend by layering a pussy-bow blouse under the blazer. The floral prints and soft pink brightened up a bit the look giving it a feminine finishing touch, which I totally love! An outfit is not complete without a great pair of shoes and this time I chose to wear this stunning pair covered in glitter with a bow-detail. They can surely steal the show and make any outfit look way more fabulous!
And I don’t want to end up this post without wishing you an amazing Valentine’s Day! Either you celebrate it with your partner or without a date, don’t forget to make this day memorable and spread the love to those around you. And this should apply every single day…
With love, Andreea R.
