Even though sunny days are long gone, I’m still attached to some of my summer clothes I used to wear pretty often during last season.  As a matter of fact I decided to get this marvelous coloured skirt out of the closet and integrate it into today’s outfit, pairing it with ankle boots and a black roll-neck for an autumnal approach.

When I attended my first fashion event in London, this H&M number was my go-to piece styling it back then with a denim shirt and stilettos, for honestly it can work perfectly even with white trainers and it will still look amazing. Teamed with bold and bright hues might take it to the next level, but I decided to make it a central piece of the combo by dressing it with monochrome hues. It’s amazing how its colourful prints brighten up the outfit in an instant, matching the beautiful flower bouquet painted in orange, red, yellow and green.  Its bell shape, fine texture and the high-waist element give the look a ladylike appeal, making it a perfect pick for the festive season ahead.

To soften a bit the riot of colour I chose to wear a basic roll-neck, which is one of the most versatile items of the season. It can basically be paired with anything this autumn: layered under cozy coats, sparkling party dresses or paired with denim dungarees , anything goes! In this case, it beautifully matches the printed midi and makes the tasseled necklace stand out.

I must say how much I’m into these boots I picked for today’s outfit that I could wear them with anything! You probably had enough of those as my latest posts were all about them, but I can’t help it! I really fell in love with their patent leather, modern design and perfect heel height. Plus, the metallic ankle boots were all over the catwalk this season and these Roberto Cavalli ones definitely hit the mark!

Hope you enjoyed this post, I send you all the good wishes and positive thoughts! Don’t hesitate to leave down your comments regarding today’s look for I’m more than happy to give you a reply!

With love, Andreea R.
